Rich Maxwell has spent more than 20 years building his career in environmental services, waste management and industrial cleaning. Since joining HK Solutions Group as a service technician in 2005, Rich has played a key role in expanding the company's waste and environmental service capabilities while helping customers safely manage complex waste streams and environmental challenges.

Throughout his career, Rich has specialized in environmental remediation, emergency response, hazardous materials handling, industrial cleaning and waste processing. As Operations Coordinator, he helped grow HK's tank and vessel cleaning program, ultimately overseeing the transfer and handling of nearly 975 million gallons of aggressive chemicals. His hands-on experience and operational leadership have made him a trusted resource for customers navigating complex waste management and compliance requirements.

Rich has held several leadership positions at HK, including Operations Manager, Environmental Manager and Assistant Director of Environmental Services before being promoted to Director of Waste Services in 2024. Industry Certifications & Affiliations

Over the course of his career, Rich has completed extensive training related to non-hazardous waste management, environmental compliance, industrial cleaning and emergency response operations. His practical field experience working alongside industrial, municipal and commercial customers has provided him with a deep understanding of waste handling regulations, environmental stewardship and safe operating practices.

Rich works closely with customers to identify responsible waste management solutions while helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations. His commitment to safety, environmental responsibility and customer service continues to support HK's reputation as a trusted waste management partner.

Day-to-Day at HK

As Director of Waste Services, Rich oversees HK's waste operations, pretreatment facility and environmental services programs. He works closely with customers, regulators and internal teams to develop waste management solutions that support operational efficiency while meeting environmental requirements.

His leadership helps drive the continued growth of HK's waste services division, including industrial waste transportation, wastewater treatment, waste profiling and disposal solutions. Rich enjoys helping customers solve challenging waste management issues and finding practical solutions that protect both their operations and the environment.
