Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP)

CIPP is a sewer repair process for pipes needing extensive rehabilitation in lieu of line replacement. The CIPP installation process results in a jointless, seamless and structural pipe lining within an existing pipe.

Cured in place pipe liners are a great solution for pipes with damage such as cracks, holes or root invasion. CIPP is extremely cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional pipe repair methods, mitigating the impact of infiltration and inflow without interrupting traffic or other nearby utilities and services.

This no-dig pipeline rehabilitation solution is also known as inversion pipe lining. Our team first inspects the pipelines and takes all necessary measurements. We then return to our facility and use this data to design a cured in place pipe liner to the correct specifications for the existing pipeline. The result is a high-quality felt liner impregnated with a catalyzed resin that will harden during the curing process to create a brand new pipe inside the existing pipeline.

Monoform LIFT™ for Raising & Reinforcing Manholes in Levee Areas

Along with our exclusive Monoform™ liners, HK has developed additional custom solutions to accommodate even the most challenging circumstances. Our Monoform LIFT™ solution enables trenchless manhole rehabilitation for manholes located on a levee or another area prone to flooding. HK’s team of experts is able to restore deteriorating manholes and adjust elevation to the desired height by installing a lower and upper concrete liner to reinforce the existing manhole structure and create more height before placing a new manhole cover.

Slip Lining

Slip lining for pipeline rehabilitation, like the other trenchless rehabilitation processes, repairs leaks and restores structural stability to the existing pipeline. The slip lining process begins with inserting a carrier pipe into the larger host pipe. It is then grouted into the space between the two pipes, and both ends are sealed. The most common materials used are high-density polyethylene (HDPE), fiberglass reinforced pipe (FRP) & PVC.
